best way to digitalize a tape ?, Posted 18th November 2008 #1
i know i know. .. how in the **** i still have tapes ! !

but seriously what's the best way to digitalize our old tapes and convert them to CDs ?
is there any adaptar or a way to use mic ?

Yes there is. The device is normally called a "cassette drive" which you can hook to your PC. One such device is the PlusDeck 2c (available on ThinkGeek and other places; just google "PlusDeck 2c").

The other way you can go about doing this is to connect a cable from your cassette player's audio out (or headphone jack) to your sound card's audio in (or microphone input) and start recording using any sound recording application.
